For dry-fire practice, function testing and safe decocking, A-Zoom snap caps reproduce the dimensions of .38 Special cartridges without primer or propellant. They are CNC machined from solid aluminum and hard‑anodized for smooth cycling. Each unit includes A‑Zoom’s Dead Cap insert, proven to withstand over three thousand dry fires while protecting the firing pin. These devices are intended for mechanical testing and training use only.
