B&P Heavy Dove & Quail shotshells are intended for dove and quail hunting and other small upland birds. The load uses a 1 1/8 oz #9 shot payload in 12 Gauge 2 3/4″ shells to produce patterns suited to close-to-medium range field use. The wad design incorporates Gordon Technology to reduce felt recoil and improve powder combustion characteristics. The load is specified by the manufacturer for upland bird hunting scenarios.
