Ed Brown’s Kobra Carry is a perfect choice for those who prefer a smaller model 1911, but insist on complete reliability. The slide has been reduced to the minimum possible (4.25″) without significantly impairing the legendary reliability of the 5″ slide. The frame has been modified with the innovative Ed Brown Bobtail housing which reduces the projecting butt of the mainspring housing without sacrificing the full-size frame and magazine capacity. The Bobtail minimizes the print under your clothing for conceal carry and reduces weight. Unique to the Kobra pistol series is the innovative directional Snakeskin treatment on the fore strap, Bobtail housing, and slide. This pattern is smooth to slide your hand up, but bites in for a snug grip the other way where you need it. The Kobra Carry model includes custom features such as a recessed slide stop, a flush barrel with a recessed crown, and a heavy chamfer. Kobra Carry has a red fiber optic front sight with a fixed, black rear sight.

Shipping & FFL
Firearms are shipped only to a Federal Firearms Licensee. We must have a signed copy of the receiving dealer's license on file before shipment. Once the firearm arrives, you complete ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check with that dealer. Transfer fees are set by, and paid to, the receiving dealer.
All firearm sales are final. Inspect the firearm at your dealer before completing the transfer — once it has transferred to you on a Form 4473 it cannot be returned to us. Defects are handled under the manufacturer's warranty.
