Forced Reset Trigger (FRT) — Taurus TX22™
A drop-in replacement for the factory disconnector that forces the trigger to reset as the slide cycles, enabling faster successive trigger pulls. The shooter still pulls the trigger for each shot — one round per trigger function.
Should the forced reset not engage, the pistol continues to operate in standard semi-auto. No additional modifications are required.
Compatibility Fits all TX22, TX22C, 2TX22, and 2TX22C models, including Competition and T.O.R.O. variants — all generations.
Suppressor Use Test unsuppressed before running a can. Suppressed performance varies with back pressure, ammunition, and suppressor selection.
Buyer Responsibility Federal law no longer classifies FRTs as machine guns following the 2025 DOJ settlement, but state and local laws differ and several states prohibit these devices. Buyers are responsible for confirming legality in their jurisdiction prior to purchase, and for proper installation and safe operation.
