The Hornady Outfitter load for the .270 Winchester Short Magnum pairs a 130-grain CX monolithic copper-alloy expanding bullet with nickel-plated, sealed cases. This load is aimed at hunting medium to large game and for use in adverse weather or backcountry conditions where corrosion resistance and waterproofing are priorities.
