Hornady SST FTX 12 Gauge sabot slugs are designed for use in fully rifled shotgun barrels and intended for extended-range slug performance. The FTX (Flex Tip) projectile increases ballistic coefficient for a flatter trajectory compared with conventional lead slugs. This load is typically used for hunting in slug-permitted areas and for precision slug shooting from rifled barrels.
