Remington Express XLR Extra Long Range 12 gauge shotshells are intended for upland bird and small-game use where extended, uniform patterns are desired. This load uses a 1 1/8 oz payload of #7.5 lead shot to produce dense patterns at range. The shells are listed as 2-3/4″ length and have a manufacturer-stated muzzle velocity of 1450 fps from a standard test barrel. These loads are formulated for use in properly chambered 12 gauge shotguns.
