Remington Nitro-Steel 12 Gauge 3″ shotshells are high-velocity steel BB loads intended for waterfowl hunting and situations requiring extended-range patterning. The load uses zinc-plated round pellets to improve pellet hardness and resistance to deformation, supporting consistent patterns at higher velocities. With a 1-1/4 oz payload propelled at 1450 fps, this load is specified for 12 gauge shotguns chambered for 3″ shells. It is compatible with aftermarket ported and wad-stripping chokes when used according to the shotgun manufacturer’s recommendations.
