Remington Nitro-Steel High Velocity 12 gauge 3″ shotshells are intended for waterfowl and migratory bird hunting where non-toxic steel shot is required. These loads use a 1 3/8 oz payload of zinc-plated steel pellets and a 1300 fps muzzle velocity to provide a high-velocity steel option for field patterning. The manufacturer notes compatibility with aftermarket ported and wad-stripping chokes.
